Cheryl experienced sudden hearing loss overnight in her right ear in May 2021. After receiving incorrect diagnoses from multiple medical professionals over several appointments, she was eventually diagnosed with Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSNHL).

Alongside a severe decline in hearing, Cheryl also experienced tinnitus and hyperacusis, with symptoms that intensified around noise. Like so many people affected by sudden hearing loss, she faced confusion, uncertainty, and the challenge of navigating a condition that is still little known and poorly understood.

Today, Cheryl is the proud sponsor of the Sudden Hearing Loss Support website. Her sponsorship helps ensure that this platform can continue providing vital information, support, and hope to others experiencing sudden hearing loss around the world.
